As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we're on a mission to eliminate barriers to do good. To do this, we need a team of people to put in the hard work ... like the dev team.
The Development team (aka our team of app wizards) is looking for a Quality Assurance Intern. The position is currently an unpaid volunteer position at POINT.
The Quality Assurance Intern is an integral part of POINT’s marketing and branding. You will work closely with the CTO (Chief Technical Officer) and Mobile Lead who will provide you with guidance and materials.
- Assist software development in the testing of both mobile (iOS and Android) and web apps across multiple browsers (IE, Safari, Chrome, Firefox) and devices
Ensure business requirements are developed, approved, tested, and implemented
Could provide clear steps to reproduce and analyze the impact of discovered systems issues
Help establish processes to ensure that system requirements, project testing, and project outcomes satisfy defined requirements and project success criteria
Is accountable for defining clear, testable requirements for all assigned projects, as well as ongoing quality and process improvement for the project
Develops customer and system documentation as required
- Attend team meetings
- Regularly check POINT communications, i.e. team email and ‘slack’ updates
